Do you like combat fishing from the bank with all the mosquitoes, bears, and other stressed-out fishermen trying to figure out what’s legal, what day of the week it is, or what an “adipose fin” is? If that’s not your idea of an Alaskan fishing vacation, leave the bug dope, pepper spray, and fishing regulations attorney behind. Join us on a saltwater salmon fishing charter where every fish we catch is chrome-bright, in the prime of its life, and full of fight!

We fish for king salmon all season, with the best action from late May to early July. Homer king salmon average around 20 pounds, but it's not uncommon to catch one over 40. Sometimes we'll take a white or "ivory" king that looks identical to a regular king salmon on the outside, but surprises us with pearly white flesh on the inside. The limit is one or two per day, depending on where we fish.
Silver salmon fishing is hot from late July through mid August. We’ll even catch limits of silvers while filleting our halibut catch! The limit is three per day. For all our salmon fishing, we use downriggers and divers for controlled-depth trolling; a very effective technique. Sometimes we’ll switch to jigs once a school of fish is found.

Salmon fishing may be booked as a single species trip or combined with halibut.
