Mission statement: "To share a unique Alaskan wilderness experience with our guests in a safe, responsible, and sustainable manner."
a limit of 30-60 pound Alaskan lingcod
Did you know that lingcod aren’t really a cod at all? Lingcod are taken primarily by jigging across underwater pinnacles and rocky areas. Because of heavy equipment loss due to inattention or bad luck, we limit our guests to a maximum of two leadhead jigs lost. Lingcod season opens July 1st with a limit of two fish over 35 inches.
fisherman holding a yelloweye rockfish in the Gulf of Alaska

Rockfish are open year-round with a limit of 5, only one of which may be a yelloweye. Most of the rockfish we encounter are black rockfish, which are very tasty. Since rockfish do not have vented swim bladders, they seldom survive once released. We consider ourselves to be good stewards of the resource, and in the interest of conservation, please keep the first 5 rockfish caught, regardless of size.
