We are your humble hosts in Homer, Kent & Kari Haina. Join us on the most unforgettable part of your Alaskan adventure. Let us show you how a safe, comfortable, and really fun fishing or wildlife viewing trip should be! Our focus is still on the journey, not the destination. We are full time Alaskans who live in Homer all year. Our kids go to Homer schools, we shop in Homer stores, and dine in Homer restaurants. Welcome to our home and our Homer!

Kent was born and raised in the 50th state of Hawai'i where he spent all his free time fishing, and maybe a little bit of surfing. He went to college in Washington State, then flew jets in the US Air Force for 8 years. He recently left the commercial airline industry after 17 years, and is living the dream.

Kira is our precocious 10 year-old, destined
for greatness. She loves cats, school, reading,
and of course, fishing. She’s especially proud of winning
the Spelling Bee as a 4th-grader, and teaching her little
brother how to read when he was only five years old!
