Kent was born and raised in the 50th state of Hawai'i. He spent all of his summers growing up fishing the reefs and
waters there. He went to college in Washington state, then flew jets for the US Air Force for 8 years. He recently left
the commercial airline industry after 17 years, and is living the dream of living in Homer and fishing for a living.
Kari is originally from Grant's Pass, Oregon. During her teen years, her family relocated to Eagle River, Alaska and
she was hooked. She's an avid angler and frequently accompanies Kent on fishing trips.
Between them, they have four children. Kent Jr. is an actor in Chicago, Kasey is a criminal justice student in college,
Kira is our precocious 9 going on 21 year-old, and James is our 6 year-old deck hand-in-training.
