Lingcod fishing has become hugely popular in Homer recently. For a long time, only locals knew of this fishery in the
rich waters of the Gulf of Alaska. We are pleased to offer fun and exciting adventures for exotic lingcod! We’ll travel
2 hours or more to the unspoiled Jurassic Park-like beauty of the Chugach Islands for these prehistoric-looking
fighters. Lucky for us, BIG halibut like it too! The 2007 Homer halibut derby winner was caught in this vicinity, so don't
forget your derby ticket because we fish for halibut on our ling cod charters also! Our lings are taken primarily by
jigging across underwater pinnacles and rocky areas. If you're real nice, we'll fish for rockfish on these trips too!
Lingcod season opens July 1st with a two fish over 35" limit.
